FINANCIAL MANGEMENT

In my experience at Patriot Golf Club, Northwood Club, Bob O'Link and The Club at Old Hawthorne, I have been given responsibilities to work closely with club management and accounting departments to coordinate golf shop sales, expenses, and operational budgets for the golf operations.

 

In today’s world, financial management has never been more important, thus attention to detail and understanding each area of operational budgets is of the utmost significance. Currently, I oversee the golf shop and I am responsible for vendor account management, golf shop merchandising sales, inventory processes, controllables, and monthly budgets. This experience has exposed me to the forecasting of revenues and expenses throughout the season and the value of good records for the operation.

 

Another area that I oversee is payroll for the golf shop and outside operations. Being the largest expense for the operation, close monitoring is essential. With detailed schedules for the staff, I am always in tune with payroll and making necessary adjustments without ever sacrificing the integrity of the club or service that our members and guests deserve.

 

I am confident that my experience and knowledge of financial management and accounting principles within the golf operations will assist in running a financially sound club that is there to service its members and guests.
